On Saturday, 14 October, parts of the western hemisphere, including our little corner of the South Caribbean,  will experience a breathtaking celestial show: an annular solar eclipse.

International Sloth Day is celebrated every October 20th, and it’s the day to learn more about the world’s slowest-moving mammal, raise awareness about the problems they are facing, and how to help wild sloths. But it’s not just a single day—throughout the entire month of October, which we call “SlothTober,” we celebrate sloths and amplify our work to protect these incredible creatures and their habitats.
