Our ‘Sloth Crossing’ wildlife bridges make it safer for sloths (and other wildlife) to move between trees in disturbed areas, avoiding roads and power lines. When you sponsor a bridge, you will receive the GPS location, photos, and a personalized video from the field team installing your bridge.

  • Yes! Our Sloth Crossing sponsorships make the best gifts. Simply select “Dedicate this donation” at checkout and enter the recipient’s details. We will contact them directly to share updates about the bridge installation and the GPS location!

  • Our first wildlife bridges were installed in 2017, and many of them are still standing strong today. The lifespan of a bridge depends on the location and how long it takes for the surrounding trees to reconnect the canopy naturally. Since we always plant trees alongside each installation, the bridge eventually becomes unnecessary once the forest closes the gap on its own. You can expect your Sloth Crossing to remain in place for at least two years - often much longer.

  • We will start organising your bridge installation right away. The process usually takes a few months as we identify the best location, secure property owner permission, obtain government permits, and coordinate the installation. While timelines can vary, we will keep you updated every step of the way.

  • Our team will communicate with you about your bridge installation via email.

  • When you sponsor a Sloth Crossing, we will show you the difference you have made by:

    • Sharing background information about the area and why a bridge is needed

    • Sending you photos and personalized updates from our team during construction

    • Sharing photos of the completed bridge

    • Giving you access to a GPS map showing your bridge (and all others we’ve built), marked with your name

  • Bridge sponsorships are a one-time donation of US$250. If you would like to add a camera trap onto your bridge, this brings the total to US$400
