What is Slothtober?
Slothtober is SloCo’s annual Sloth Month campaign. Throughout October, we share sloth stories, conservation science, educational content, and ways to help protect wild sloths.
When is International Sloth Day?
The Sloth Conservation Foundation celebrates International Sloth Day every year on October 20.
Does my event need to take place on October 20?
No. You can organize a Slothtober event on any date during October or hold it specifically on International Sloth Day.
Can I participate from anywhere?
Yes. You can join an online event or organize an activity within your own school, workplace, organization, or community.
How can I add my event to this page?
Complete the registration form with your event details and give SloCo permission to share them publicly. Our team will review the submission before adding it to the event listing.
Does registering guarantee that my event will be published?
Submitting the form does not guarantee publication. SloCo reviews events before sharing them to ensure they are relevant, appropriate, and consistent with responsible sloth conservation.
